HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford women's squash junior co-captain Isabelle Gotuaco was named the top player in the E division at the 2017 Women's College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships, the organization announced on Wednesday.

The special postseason edition of the Harrow Sports College Squash Player of the Week award recognizes a player from each division of the championship tournament.

Haverford and Dartmouth are the only two institutions to receive divisional honors for both its men's and women's squads. Last week, Aaron Horwitz was named the Player of the Chaffee Cup by the CSA.

Gotuaco went 3-0 at the 2017 National Team Championships in Princeton, N.J. as the Fords' top player. She earned victories over Washington- St. Louis, Colgate, and Georgetown. Gotuaco helped Haverford to a second place finish in the E Division.

Gotuaco posted sweeps at the top spot on the ladder on each occasion during the CSA Championships, including two wins on the same courts in which she played on during her high school tenure at the Lawrenceville School.

Against Georgetown, Gotuaco outlasted her toughest challenger of the weekend, dispatching Maddy Forbess in three games, setting the tone with a 14-12 victory in the first game.
