Wesleyan was able to get the best of the Fords in the early afternoon match, with the Fords seeing their best performances come from first year Maddie Hager at the third spot on the ladder.

Hager won the first game from her opponent Ananya Vir by an 11-4 total before falling in the next three games. Sunyoung Chai had a battle with Josephine Russ at the fourth spot on the ladder, taking her opponent to an 11-8 decision before falling in the third and final game.

In the exhibition, Hannah Adler defeated Emma Robin in straight games (11-7, 11-4, 11-4).

#22 Colby 9, Haverford 0

Kaitlin Reese gave her opponent Madiha Molani a scare at the second spot on the ladder after falling in the first two games. Reese dominated the third game in an 11-2 victory before taking Molani to the brink in a 13-11 game that required extra points before a decision could be made in favor of Colby.

At the ninth spot on the ladder, Stephanie Lukez impressed against Anna Gildea, as Gildea twice needed extra points to dispatch Lukez 12-10, 11-8, 12-10.

The Fords return to action tomorrow, facing off with #25 Hamilton at 12 p.m. and #34 Bard at 4 p.m, wrapping up action at the Pioneer Valley Invitational. Haverford will next be in action on February 3 as Dickinson and Georgetown come to the GIAC Squash Courts.
