HAVERFORD, Pa. – The final Oracle/ITA Division III Women's Tennis rankings for the year have been released. Haverford's No. 1 doubles pairing of Anne Tobin and Natalie Williams were ranked 13th in the final Atlantic South Regional rankings.

That ranking is the highest year-end ranking for a Haverford's doubles pairing since regional rankings were announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association at the end of the year starting with the 2009-10 season. Over the last decade, only Alex Ferrara '14 and Caitlin Gallagher '15 had found themselves ranked in doubles for Haverford during the final regional release of the year prior to this season. The Ferrara/Gallagher duo was ranked 14th at the conclusion of the 2012-13 season.

Playing No. 1 doubles together during each of the team's six spring matches, Tobin and Williams were 4-2 at the top of the doubles lineup. That record included a 3-0 mark against opponents in the Atlantic South Region. Haverford's only two losses at No. 1 doubles this spring came against the No. 8 pairing in the Central Region and the 11th-ranked duo from the Northeast Region. Tobin and Williams allowed their opponents to win more than four games on just one occasion during their victories. The Fords' No. 1 duo outscored opponents 32-13 en route to those four wins together.

Tobin and Williams were playing together for the first time this spring. Nevertheless, both ended the season tied for the team lead with seven doubles victories. Lisette Pham, who was paired with Tobin during the fall, also reached seven wins in doubles for the Fords. All three of those players will return to the for Fords 2020-21 academic year. Haverford went 3-3 overall against a challenging non-conference schedule during its abbreviated spring season after competing at the Swarthmore Invitational and the ITA Atlantic South Regional Championships during the fall.
