Women's track competes at Danny Curran Invitational

CHESTER, Pa. - The outdoor season continued for the Haverford College women's track team on Friday night as the Fords competed on the first day of the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University.

Two Haverford runners finished in the top five in the 10,000-meter run as senior Helen Farley placed fourth in 42 minutes, 39.17 seconds and junior Margaret Duffy followed closely behind in fifth (43:11.30).

Molly Allen also ran well as the sophomore finished 15th in the 5,000 with a time of 19:35.67.

The two-day invitational resumes on Saturday at 9 a.m.
