WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Haverford College women's track & field team started off a busy weekend by competing at the 49th Annual Colonial Relays hosted by The College of William & Mary.

Sophomore Nora Weathers and senior Hope Rainey provided the Fords' highest finishes of the day with career-best performances in the 3,000-meter run. The top Division III finishers in the event, Weathers' time of 10 minutes, 12.87 seconds was good for 14th while Rainey took 15th with a time of 10:13.72.

Haverford also ran well in the 10,000 as senior Flora Berklein and junior Charlotte Lellman finished in 16th (39:17.76) and 17th (39:35.97), respectively.

Senior Emily Scott delivered a standout performance in the 1,500m as her career-best time of 4:43.55 currently ranks as the top time in the Centennial Conference this spring.

Scott's classmate Nora Howe was the first D-III finisher in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Howe's time of 12:16.44 currently ranks third on the Centennial performance list.

Senior Erin Seglem provided the Fords with another career-best performance in the 400-meter dash (1:01.18).

Haverford will be busy on Saturday as a portion of the team will compete on the final day of the Colonial Relays while others will take part in the Muhlenberg (College) Invitational.
