PRINCETON, N.J. – The Haverford College women's outdoor track & field team had a pair of competitors run at the Sam Howell Invitational on Friday night.

Nicole Giannetti turned in a personal best time of 17:32.80 in the 5,000 meter race and placed 16th overall. Her time cut nearly six seconds off of her previous best and makes her the sixth fastest individual in program history for that event. As of press time, that mark is the 15th fastest time in Division III this season.

Katie Sullivan placed 17th overall in the 1,500 meters. Crossing the line in a time of 4:40.33, Sullivan's time is currently ranked 19th in Division III this year.

With the team's other meet this weekend being canceled due to inclement weather, the Fords are slated to return to the track next Saturday, April 14. In addition to Widener's Chester Quarry Classic, the Fords have also announced that they will be having individuals compete at Bucknell's Bison Classic on that same day.
