Kimberly Downey joined the Haverford College volleyball coach staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2017 season. Previously, Downey served as head coach of East Coast Power Volleyball from 2014-2017 and has been an assistant with both PVA and Synergy. In addition to coaching on the club circuit, Downey has served as junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach at Archbishop Carroll High School since 2014.

Prior to Carroll, Downey was junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach at the Agnes Irwin School from 2010-2013. Downey also served as a certified PIAA Volleyball Referee from 2009-2014.

Downey saw time as a player and student manager for Villanova. After completing her undergraduate degree in communications in 2012, she received her Master’s degree in instructional technology from Saint Joseph’s in 2016.

Downey works as an Instructional Designer at Villanova and resides in Havertown, Pa.
