Virtual Senior Days: Haverford College Women's Cross Country Class of 2021

With the 2020 fall sports unable to hold traditional Senior Days on campus, the Haverford College Athletic Department is recognizing these seniors in a virtual ceremony, with some special help from their teammates. Today, we celebrate the 2021 Haverford College women's cross country seniors.

Amalia Axinn • Biology major; Health Studies minor • Brooklyn, New York

  • Three-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
  • Two-top finishes (2017 Haverford Open; 2019 Alumnae Open)
  • Placed 30th at first Centennial Conference Championships in 2019 and was one of seven runners who represented the Fords at the Mideast Regional

Marly Banatte • Psychology major; Chemistry and Neuroscience minors • Brooklyn, New York

  • Joined team in 2018 after initially focusing solely on track & field
  • Three-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
  • Broke 26-minute mark for first time at 2019 Paul Short Run
  • Career-best eighth-place finish at 2019 Alumnae Open

  • Competed at 2017 and 2018 Centennial Conference Championships as team placed third both years
  • Top-10 finisher at 2018 Alumnae Open
