Gina Stephan joins the Haverford College Field Hockey staff for the 2019 season.

Stephan previously served as head coach of her alma mater, Clarence High School in Western New York. She also worked as a graduate intern for Student-Athlete Success at Daemen College in 2018. Stephan was the Assistant to the Athletic Director at Mount Saint Mary Academy, as well as an adjunct instructor of Sport Psychology in 2017.

Prior to her time at Mount Saint Mary, she served as a Senior Research Support Specialist at the University at Buffalo, and a graduate assistant in the Health Science and Psychology Departments at the College at Brockport.

A four-year starter on defense for Brockport Golden Eagles, Stephan was a second-team All-SUNYAC selection in 2012, as well as a member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad.  Graduating in 2014 from The College at Brockport, Stephan holds a Master of Arts degree in psychology as well as a Master of Science degree in sports administration from Canisius College.
