Virtual Senior Days: Haverford College Men's Lacrosse Class of 2020

With the 2020 spring sports unable to hold Senior Days on campus, the Haverford College Athletic Department is recognizing these seniors in a virtual ceremony, with some special help from their teammates. Today, we celebrate the 2020 Haverford College men's lacrosse seniors.

  • Helped Fords reach Centennial Conference Tournament in 2018
  • Defeated a pair of top-10 opponents during 2019 season
  • Closed senior season with a resounding 11-5 win over Baldwin Wallace during trip to Colorado

#22 Connor Braun • Attack • Economics major; Classical Culture and Society minor • Medfield, Massachusetts

  • Appeared in seven games during his career, including victories against Muhlenberg, Washington College, and Roger Williams
  • Tallied a shot during Haverford's 14-6 win against Muhlenberg in his collegiate debut
  • Twice named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll

#13 Griffin Brooks • Defender • Mathematics major • Grosse Pointe, Michigan

  • Team captain
  • Played in 46 of a possible 51 games during his career, making four starts
  • Second on the team in ground balls (13) and caused turnovers (6) during senior season
  • Collected 43 ground balls and created 20 turnovers during his career
  • Had three career assists, including one in the win against then-No. 10 Dickinson during 2019 season

#33 Kyle Buseck • Goalie • Economics major • Boca Grande, Florida

  • Appeared in three games, making two starts during senior season
  • Made career-high 15 saves and scooped up two ground balls in first collegiate start
  • Had 10-plus saves during each of his games played
  • Ambler Scholar-Athlete
  • Three-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll selection

#43 Noah Hollander • Attack • Economics major • Roanoke, Virginia

  • Made 32 career appearances, including five starts, playing every game during the 2017 and 2018 seasons
  • Scored the game-winning goal against Gwynedd Mercy during his first-year
  • Tallied against Gettysburg (CC semifinal) in 2018 to help finish his career with eight points
  • Totaled 25 shots, 11 shots on goal, 15 ground balls, and two caused turnovers for career

#23 Gabe Moon • Defender • Political Science major • Newtown, Pennsylvania

  • Played in 20 of the team's final 21 games during his final two seasons
  • Led the team in caused turnovers (9) as a senior and was fourth in ground balls (12)
  • Scored a goal against Baldwin Wallace as the team capped the year with a win and also had a goal during the nationally-ranked win against Ursinus in 2019
  • Member of the Haverford College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
  • Named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2020

#20 Brendan Narko • Defender • History major; Spanish minor • Chicago, Illinois

  • Team captain
  • Started four of his six appearances on defense as a senior, playing in 24 games during his career
  • Set career highs in both ground balls (3) and caused turnovers (2) during his senior season against Scranton and Stevens
  • Finished senior season ranked second on the team in caused turnovers (6)

#5 Charlie Russ • Midfielder/Face-Off • Political Science major • Houston, Texas

  • Appeared in 31 games during his career, making six starts
  • Served primarily as the face-off man during first two seasons
  • Won 44 face-offs and ranks in the top 20 in program history for face-off winning percentage
  • Switched over to a role in the midfield during final two seasons and totaled five shots, three shots on goal, 12 ground balls, and three caused turnovers during his career
