Pape Lukk joins the Haverford College men’s lacrosse coaching staff for the 2019-20 academic year. Lukk comes to the Fords after spending three seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Concordia University Chicago while also earning a master’s degree in education. Coaching a CUC program which was formed just one year prior to his arrival, Lukk helped mentor the program’s first-ever all-conference selection while improving the team’s record during each season.

Lukk has also spent two seasons as an assistant coach at the high school level, serving stints at both Patterson Mill High School (Md.) and The Episcopal School of Jacksonville (Fla.). During his two seasons as an assistant, he helped coordinate the defensive units along with coaching face-offs and goaltenders.

Lukk has also been heavily involved in instructional camps through Navy Lacrosse Camps in association with the United States Naval Academy Athletic Association, as well as working closely with the Maryland State Coaches Association’s Maryland Free State games. He has also coached both club and youth lacrosse in the state of Florida as an assistant coach for both First Coast Lacrosse and Jacksonville Beach Youth Lacrosse.

A 2015 graduate of Frostburg State University, Lukk graduated with a degree in psychology. During his playing career, he helped Frostburg State earn three Capital Athletic Conference Tournament appearances and two ECAC Tournament Championship appearances. Frostburg State ranked as high as No. 15 in the USILA Division III national poll throughout his playing career.
