HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's and women's track & field teams have announced their 2019 outdoor schedules. Both teams will run very similar schedules throughout the spring, including the team's annual home meet on Monday, April 22. Muhlenberg will serve as the host of the Centennial Conference Championship meet, while the NCAA National Championships for qualified individuals will be held in Geneva, Ohio.

The outdoor season begins with the first of three regular season meets at Widener as the Danny Curran Invitational is set for Friday, March 29 through Saturday, March 30. The teams will return to Widener's campus for the Chester Quarry Classic (Apr. 13) and Widener Invitational (Apr. 19-20). The Fords are also slotted to enter a pair of meets at Princeton with select individuals competing at the Sam Howell Invitational (Apr. 5) and Larry Ellis Invitational (Apr. 19). The other local meet on the slate will be the West Chester Invitational on Saturday, April 6.

Haverford's home invitational is slated to begin at 4 p.m. on Monday, April 22 and will be just two weeks before the championship season gets underway. Prior to the conference meet, the women will run at the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday, April 27, while the Penn Relays are set for Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27.

The 2019 Centennial Conference Championships will be hosted by Muhlenberg College and run from Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5. The men are coming off a second place finish during the outdoor conference championships in 2018 while the women placed fifth as a team that same weekend.

Should they be needed, last chance meets are currently scheduled for Swarthmore (May 13) and Widener (May 15-16). The NCAA Division III Championships will be held at The SPIRE Institute from Thursday, May 23 through Saturday, May 25. At the 2018 outdoor national championships, both Graham Peet (third in steeplechase) and Greg Morgan (seventh in 1,500 meters) earned All-America status.
