HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's basketball team (23-4) learned its NCAA tournament first and second round destination during Monday's NCAA selection show, as the Fords will be heading to Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio for a Friday matchup with the host Yellow Jackets (26-2). The back-to-back Centennial Conference champions will be making their first trip to the Buckeye State in program history, contesting a pod that also includes UAA Champion Chicago (20-5) and AMCC Champion La Roche (20-6).

Haverford has faced off with just one team in its regional, a January 10, 1999 matchup with Chicago at the Alumni Field House on the Haverford campus. The Maroons came away with a 61-41 victory in that meeting more than 21 years ago.

The Fords will play in the second game of the session on Friday. Game times are still to be determined.

A full preview of all of the weekend's action will be available later this week. Haverford will be making its fourth appearance overall in the NCAA tournament (2014, 2018, 19, 20) and third consecutive trip. The Fords have posted three consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time in program history.
