HAVERFORD, Pa. - After a thrilling run to a second straight Centennial Conference title, the Haverford College women's basketball team (23-4) is yet again receiving votes in both the D3Hoops.com and Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) National Division III Coaches Poll. Haverford also checked in at sixth in the final public NCAA Division III regional rankings, the set which the NCAA committee used to select the at-large teams and to seed the overall national bracket.

Haverford checks in third among teams "also receiving votes" in the D3Hoops.com poll, with 16 total tallies. In the WBCA poll, Haverford is listed second among teams in the also receiving votes grouping, with 10 total points. In the final Mid-Atlantic regional ranking, Haverford was notched sixth, as the Fords leaped over Centennial runner-up Gettysburg, the seventh-ranked squad in the pre-tournament listing.

The Fords will open their third consecutive NCAA Tournament trip on Friday at No. 9 Baldwin Wallace in Berea, Ohio. Women's Basketball is making its first ever appearance in the state of Ohio. The Yellow Jackets (26-2) set some poll history of their own as they check in at a program-best No. 9 ranking in the D3Hoops.com poll. Baldwin Wallace has won 12 contests in a row and are an unblemished 15-0 on their home court this season after capturing their first Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) championship since 2015 with a win over John Carroll on Saturday.

With a win in the NCAA First Round contest at Ursprung Gymnasium on Friday, the Fords would advance to Saturday's second round contest against either Chicago or La Roche, with the meeting hosted by Baldwin Wallace regardless of the outcome of Friday's games. Tip-off for that contest is also slated for 6 p.m. in Berea.
