Virtual Senior Days: Haverford College Women's Lacrosse Class of 2020

With the 2020 spring sports unable to hold Senior Days on campus, the Haverford College Athletic Department is recognizing these seniors in a virtual ceremony, with some special help from their teammates. Today, we celebrate the 2020 Haverford College women's lacrosse seniors.

2020 Haverford College Women's Lacrosse Senior Class

  • Combined for 33 wins and a pair of berths in the Centennial Conference Tournament during their four years at Haverford
  • Advanced to the Centennial Conference semifinals during a memorable 2019 season that saw the team post a pair of ranked wins, including the highest ranked win in program history over #3 TCNJ on February 26, 2019
  • In 2019, the team was named the winner of the prestigious IWLCA Academic Merit Squad award, awarded to the women's lacrosse team in Division III with the highest overall team GPA 
  • The Fords have led the Centennial Conference in overall honorees on the Centennial Conference Honor Roll in each of the last four seasons

Eliza Brosgol • #8 • Midfielder  • Economics • Scarsdale, N.Y. 

  • Scored the game winning goal with less than 30 seconds remaining as the Fords took down No. 22 Dickinson in the CC First Round last May in Carlisle.
  • Ranks within the top 20 in program career history in draw controls per game (1.31) and free-position goals (10)
  • A Centennial Conference Honor Roll selection in each season of eligbility 

Olivia DiRienz • #4 • Midfield • Economics • Clinton, N.J. 

  • Fourth in program history in draw controls (2.41) and total draws (135)
  • Her 53 draw controls in 2018 was tied for the third most in program single-season history
  • A Centennial Conference Honor Roll selection in each season of eligbility 

Maeve Gaffney • #23 • Midfield • Pyschology • Barrington, R.I. 

  • Co-captain during the 2020 season 
  • Honorable mention All-Centennial Conference (2019)
  • Seventh in program history with 20 free-position goals

Emily Krupnick • #12 • Defense • Political Science • Mountain Lakes, N.J.

  • Co-captain appeared in all 56 games during her Haverford tenure 
  • Honorable Mention All-Centennial Conference (2019)
  • Named CC Player of the Week on two occasions, including March 10, 2020, after standout defensive efforts against Albright and Scranton

Tatiana Lathion • #36 • Goalkeeper • Political Science • Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. 

  • Made 13 appearances during her rookie season, making 49 saves and collecting 13 ground balls
  • Made career-best nine saves against Gettysburg on April 17, 2017
  • Appeared in four of five games this season, posting a 4.24 GAA in 56:34 of action

Julia Manetta • #15 • Attack • Economics • Commack, N.Y.

  • Holds Haverford program record for career (151) and single-season (64 in 2019) assists
  • Her 64 assists in 2019 were the fourth-most in all of Division III 
  • Second-team IWLCA All-Metro Region and second-team All-Centennial Conference selection in 2019 

Anna Meyers • #17 • Defense • Economics • Hopewell Junction, N.Y. 

  • Co-captain during 2020 season
  • Maverik/Inside Lacrosse Division III Media All-America Third Team (2020)
  • Second-team IWLCA All-Metro Region (2018, 19) and First-team All-Centennial Conference (2018, 19)
  • Ranks 12th in program history in caused turnovers (70)
