Recap | Box Score

The trip to Muhlenberg has not always been a happy homecoming for head women's soccer coach Jamie Schneck. Having helped the Mules to the 2000 and 2001 Centennial Conference Championships as a player, Schneck joined rare company when she became one of the first coaches in conference history to win a championship as both a player and a coach as she led the 2012 Fords to the conference title. Nevertheless, Muhlenberg's home field advantage seemed to stay long after Schneck's graduation until the Fords were able to break through in 2018 with a 2-1 double overtime victory. Despite doubling up Muhlenberg in shot attempts during regulation (20-10), it was Leanne Ludwick's '20 game-winner in the 103rd minute that finally got the Fords over the hump. In typical Haverford fashion, the goal was a complete team effort which started out of the back and came all the way forward. Grace Mathis '19 was credited with the assist on the game-winner. Then first-year Mia Reyes '22 opened the scoring during the first half.
