Women's Soccer Hosts Annual Alumnae Contest and Career Networking Panel

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's soccer program welcomed back its alumnae to campus for the first time since prior to the 2019 season, as the annual match persisted on Swan Field despite rainy conditions for much of the afternoon. 

With the 2021 season getting started in earnest, the scrimmage served as a vital tuneup as alums and current players teamed up together on two squads. Prior to the match, the alumnae mentored the current varsity team with a networking panel that allowed current players to gain academic and professional insight into their desired fields of study.

The well-represented alumnae participants were Alex Alavi '17, Ali Weiner '19, Saede Eifrig '20, Skyler Ellenburg '18, Abby Singer '19, Sydney West '19, Grace Mathis '19, Marina Piccolo '20, Safiyah Riddle '18, Jo Haller '16, Maryanna Solecki '19, Katie Van Aken '12, Abby Crowley '19, Taylor Cross '18, Kelsey Smith '20, Kendall Logan '18, Emily Thissen '21, Kristen Fiore '17, Kendra Griesman '20, Lauren Nguyen '21, Sarah Andrade '12, Hannah Krapes '19 ,Kelly Brown '19, and Katie Safter '19.

Women's Soccer begins its 2021 campaign on Wednesday at Immaculata. Kickoff in Malvern is slated for 6:30 p.m.
