Sophie McKnight joined the Haverford women’s soccer coaching staff prior to the 2021 campaign. McKnight brings a bevy of club coaching experience to the Fords, as she has served as a Head Coach for the Pennsylvania Rush Soccer Club since 2019. 

Prior to Haverford, McKnight was on staff as an assistant at Montgomery County Community College, and also held the positions of Head Junior Varsity Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at Lansdale Catholic High School. 

A 2019 graduate of Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, McKnight works as head coach and College Advisory Program Director at Pennsylvania Rush Soccer Club, and is pursuing a Masters in Sport Management with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from California University of Pennsylvania with an expected completion date of spring 2022.
