REDLANDS, Calif. – The Haverford College women's tennis team wrapped up its week in California with another nationally-ranked foe on Friday afternoon. Haverford presented several difficult matches through the lineup, but No. 31 Redlands secured a 9-0 win in the Fords' final match on the west coast.

The Fords posted their toughest opposition in singles. Playing in the No. 3 position, Clara Farrehi won the most games of any Ford as she dropped a hard-fought 6-3, 6-4 match. Playing all the way up at No. 2 singles, Natalie Williams also had a strong showing as she collected five games over her two sets. That matched classmate Ananya Prakash who played No. 4 singles. Both Williams and Prakash were playing at their highest spot in the singles lineup so far this spring.

At Nos. 5 and 6 singles, Renata DiDonato and Izzy Angstman also won a game during their second sets. Prakash and Williams began their day by teaming up at No. 2 doubles where they won a game, as did DiDonato and Mima Khazanov at No. 3 doubles.

Back on the east coast, women's tennis will now begin Centennial Conference action this week as the Fords welcome Gettysburg to campus next Saturday, February 23 for a 1 p.m. match.
