HAVERFORD, Pa. – Hosting back-to-back home meets before the Centennial Conference Championships, the Haverford College women's indoor track & field team won three event titles and saw Unique Tuberville break her own school record in the weight throw to highlight a very successful McElligott Invitational on Saturday.

Jessica Lopez won the 60 meter dash in her return to the track as she crossed the line in a time of 8.13 seconds. In her season debut, Lopez already has the third-fastest time in the conference this season. Marisa Antinori, Lopez, Jahsaiah Moses, and Jasmine Reed then teamed up to win the 4x200 relay in a time of 1:49.52. Adding to the sprinter's accolades, that 4x200 relay time for the Fords is currently the fastest in the Centennial Conference so far this season. Haverford also turned in a strong 4x400 relay as Moses, Lopez, Reed, and Lauren Tanel were runners-up in that event with a time of 4:13.63.

Jolie Jaycobs was also a winner for Haverford in the mile where the Fords had 13 entrants in the event. Jaycobs won the mile with a personal-best time of 5:16.52 while Griffin Kaulbach (5:19.90) and Hannah Doll (5:19.60) also placed among the top five. Sheena Dwyer-McNulty ran a personal-best time of 2:26.86 to place third overall in the 800 meters, while Kaulbach (2:29.65) once again did the double and also finished in the top five at that distance. Cate Tomson represented Haverford in the distance events as her time of 19:46.02 placed her seventh to lead Haverford in the 5,000 meters. Wrapping up action on the track, Marly Banatte was Haverford's lone entrant in the 400 meters, crossing the line in 1:07.81.

Unique Tuberville's new school record in the weight throw was measured at 13.44 meters (44'-1.25") to place her fifth overall in the field. She improved upon her previous mark by over 16 inches. Mari Horton also turned in a sixth-place finish in the shot put (10.47m; 34'-4.25"). In the jumps, Lopez added to her success on the track with a third-place finish in the triple jump (10.02m; 31'-10.25"). Following her relay success, Antinori - who was also third in the 60 meter dash - earned a final top 10 individual finish in the long jump (4.42m; 14'-6").

Just one more meet awaits the Fords before the conference championships at the end of this month. Haverford will return to competition next Saturday inside the Alumni Field House as the Keogh Invitational is set for February 22.
