COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Haverford wrapped up Centennial Conference Championships at Ursinus on Sunday. The Fords had multiple athletes set for finals. Kayla Robinson highlighted it, fresh off her first-place finish in the Heptathlon. The junior participated in the shot put, 4x100 meter relay, and triple jump, scoring points in each event. Haverford finished sixth in the team scoring with 76 points. Johns Hopkins took the overall conference crown with 253 total points.

Robinson started her day with a third-place finish in the shot put. She scored six points for Haverford with her throw of 11.83 meters (38 feet, 9.75 inches). Also scoring for Haverford in that event was Cortlyn Morris, as she logged a throw of 11.11 meters (36 feet, 5.4 inches). Next, Robinson would finish third in the triple jump for her second podium finish of the day, jumping 11 meters (36 feet, 1.07 inches).

Finally, Robinson was part of the 4x100 meter relay team that finished fourth. Naomi Fukuda, Jahsaiah Moses, and Isabel Thornberry completed the team, crossing the finish line in 50.52. Isabel Thornberry finished fourth in the 400-meter final, lowering her personal best to 58.83. She also jumped to second on Haverford's all-time list in the 400-meter dash.

Moses led the way for the sprinters finishing second in the 100-meter dash and fifth in the 100-meter hurdles. Moses earned a spot on the podium with 12.76, finishing just 0.20 off the first-place finisher. She improved on her preliminary time of 13.03. Moses ran 16.51 in the hurdles, good enough for a new personal best. Her previous best was 16.82, which she ran in the prelim.

Fiona Flynn finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles after running a personal best of 1:06.85. Her time was three seconds faster than her preliminary time and nearly two seconds faster than her previous best of 1:08.00. Katie Hirsche earned her second podium finish of the championship weekend after finishing third in the 5000 meters. The first-year crossed the finish line in 18:08.59, which is oddly just 0.30 seconds off her personal best, given the length of the race.

Sydney Cummings and Morris participated in the javelin. Both athletes would finish outside of the top ten but had throws of 31.29 meters (102 feet, 7.89 inches) and 28.02 meters (91 feet, 11.15 inches).

Haverford finished fifth in the final event of the day. With all eyes on the 4x400 meter relay, the Fords crossed the line in 4:06.79 for one of their better times of the season. Isabel Thornberry, Jahsaiah Moses, Rachel November, and Fiona Flynn made up the relay team for the Fords.

Haverford now looks ahead to the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet in Chester, hosted by the Garnet despite being held at Widener. The meet is scheduled for Monday, May 16 with the first event starting at 3 p.m.
