One of the most decorated athletes in the history of the program, Meredith Unger '97 joins the coaching staff of the Haverford College Women’s Track & Field team for the 2022 campaign.

While a student-athlete at Haverford, Unger was a five-time NCAA Division III All-American, earning the honor for her performance on the track for the indoor 1,500m, outdoor 1,500m, outdoor 3,000m and for two cross-country seasons. Unger was a two-time team captain of the track and cross country teams.

Unger earned her B.S. in Molecular Biology from Haverford in 1997 and completed a PhD at the University of Pennsylvania in Cancer Genetics and Biomedical Graduate Studies. She is currently the Senior Director of Marketing and CAR-T Operations at Janssen Biotech, Inc.
