Sports Medicine

Haverford’s certified athletic trainers coordinate all sports medicine services for the athletes that compete for the school’s 23 varsity teams.

The athletic training room, located in the beautiful Gardner Integrated Athletic Center, is staffed by Haverford’s two full-time staff members, along with a physical therapist and certified athletic trainer provided by the department’s relationship with NovaCare Rehabilitation. NovaCare Rehabilitation has partnered with Haverford College to provide on-campus physical therapy services to the entire Haverford Community.

The athletic training staff is supervised by Haverford’s orthopedic consultants, Larry Miller, MDDavid Gealt, DO, and Cody Clinton, DO.

The staff maintains strong working relationships with various local specialists and providers to allow for a wide variety of options for Haverford’s injured athletes.

Haverford’s certified athletic trainers aim to maximize the competitive opportunities for our varsity athletes by being aggressive and creative while prioritizing the athletes’ long term wellbeing.
