BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Haverford senior goalkeeper Hannah Roth has been named the NFHCA Division III National Player of the Week, the organization announced in a release on Wednesday morning.

Roth totaled nine saves last week in wins over Elizabethtown and No. 8 Rowan. The Wilmette, Ill. product has played every minute in goal for Haverford as the Fords have sprinted out to the best start in program history and are just one win shy of matching the program's all-time longest win streak. The shutout of Rowan was Haverford's highest-ranked victory since October of 2010.

Last week, Ravenel Davis earned honorable mention Offensive Player of the Week recognition from the national coaches association as Haverford has now been recognized in back-to-back weeks after a 7-0 start to the season. The Fords are the first team in Division III to reach seven wins in 2021.

Roth and the Fords, now receiving votes in the latest NFHCA poll, next return to action on Saturday, taking on McDaniel in the Centennial Conference opener on Swan Field. Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
