Kyle Newman joined the men's lacrosse coaching staff at Haverford College in February 2024. As a member of the coaching staff, Coach Newman focuses on assisting with the Haverford defense and coordinating player substitutions. Prior to joining Haverford, he held the position of Director of Boys Lacrosse at Centercourt Club & Sports in New Jersey, where he served from February 2020.

Before his tenure at Centercourt, Coach Newman played a key role as the coordinator of the boys' varsity defense at Princeton Day School for three seasons. During his time at Princeton Day School, he actively contributed to practice planning, game strategy development, and student-athlete recruitment.

Coach Newman is an alumnus of Chestnut Hill College, having graduated in 2018. As a participant in the program founded by Haverford Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Richard Carrington, Newman achieved notable recognition, earning NCAA D2 Scholar All-American and First Team All-Central Athletic Collegiate Conference honors in 2018.

Richard Carrington, Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Haverford, expresses confidence in the impact Coach Newman will have on the team's defense. Carrington notes, "Our defense will benefit from Coach Newman's playing experience and mentality. He understands that much of defensive success is fueled by attitude and effort, and I foresee him setting a high standard for our defensive personnel."
