HAVERFORD, Pa.  - The Haverford College men's tennis team has climbed to its program apex of No. 28 in the ITA National Rankings, the organization announced in its periodic rankings release. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) also compiles regional rankings, as the Fords are the number six team in the Atlantic South, ahead of rival Swarthmore (No. 7).

The Fords are the second-highest ranked squad from the Centennial Conference, trailing only No. 20 Johns Hopkins, a squad the Fords beat on April 2, and Haverford is one of three CC teams to be ranked in the latest release, joining the Blue Jays and Garnet in that distinction.

Haverford's top flight player, George Jiang, is currently slotted as the No. 23 singles player in the Atlantic South. The Fords will face off with Dickinson on Saturday in Carlisle (1 p.m.) before the home finale on Wednesday, April 20 against Washington College (4 p.m.).

Haverford has one more nationally ranked squad on its schedule, facing off with No. 40 Christopher Newport (1 p.m.) at Goucher College in a neutral site matchup between Atlantic South stalwarts on April 23.
