BALTIMORE, Md. - The third-seeded No. 38 Haverford College men's tennis team (10-7, 5-2 CC) takes on second-seeded No. 14 Johns Hopkins (15-5, 9-1 CC) in a Centennial Conference semifinal on Friday afternoon (4 p.m.) in Baltimore. 

Fords in the ITA Rankings
In the ITA national rankings, Haverford checks in as the No. 38 team in the nation, the third-ranked team out of the Centennial Conference behind just No. 10 Swarthmore and No. 14 Johns Hopkins. 

Fords in the NCAA Regional Rankings
In the NCAA Regional Rankings, which differ from the ITA rankings but ultimately contribute to selection criteria for the NCAA tournament, Haverford is the fourth-ranked team in Region III, behind Swarthmore, Johns Hopkins, and Stevens, but ahead of Franklin & Marshall, Goucher, and Gettysburg. Marko Arboleda checks in as the second-ranked singles player in Region III behind only Michael Melnikov of Swarthmore. Aiden Kim is also "in consideration" for a regional bid while the doubles pairing of Arboleda and Stefan Johnson is ranked third in Region III.

The Regular Season Matchup
In a matchup that was delayed to April 19 due to weather, then-No. 18 Johns Hopkins took the match by an 8-1 final. Johns Hopkins got off to a quick start in the match, by taking all three doubles points from the Fords. Haverford received its singles win from Arboleda at the top flight, as he outlasted Daniel Ardila, cruising 6-2 in the second set after a first-set tiebreaker victory.

Postseason Pedigree
Haverford is making its 12th consecutive postseason appearance and 16th trip overall to the conference tournament, in a tournament that has only been held on 17 occasions, proving to be one of the most dominant programs in the conference on a year-in, year-out basis.
