ILWomen/IWLCA National Top 25

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's lacrosse team checks in at No. 22 in the latest release of the ILWomen/IWLCA Top 25 Poll. The Fords currently sit at 7-3 overall and 3-1 in Centennial Conference play heading into the final three weeks of the regular season.

The Fords will contest five more regular season games, beginning with a Saturday matinee against Washington College (3 p.m.). Haverford also has another nationally ranked squad on the schedule as the Fords welcome No. 2 Franklin & Marshall to campus on Senior Day (April 30).

Middlebury (12-0) continues to reign over the national landscape in the No. 1 spot while the second-ranked Diplomats (11-1) pull ahead of Salisbury (10-2), Colby (10-1), and Washington and Lee (10-2) to round out the top 10. Gettysburg is the other Centennial Conference squad ranked, in seventh with a 9-3 overall record.

The Fords have been dominant in three consecutive CC wins, blasting past Dickinson, Muhlenberg, and McDaniel after falling to then-No. 2 Gettysburg in the conference opener.

In the offensive rankings, Katharine Ference continues to lead the CC in assists (26), while Roma Hladky is third in total gaols (35). Sarah Cahn has held down the goalkeeping duties, with 88 saves to her ledger in a strong senior campaign.

The Fords return to the friendly confines of Swan Field for three of their final five regular season contests, with a matinee against Washington College (3 p.m.) setting the tone on Saturday afternoon.
