HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College Women's Lacrosse sophomore defender Lauren Paprocki (Berkeley Heights, N.J. / Governor Livingston) has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office in a release on Tuesday morning.

Paprocki is the third Fords player to receive the honor this season, after junior Eva Baumann picked up the accolade on March 5, 2024 and first-year Lizzie Symonds earned the award on March 18, 2024.

The sophomore's defensive presence helped the Fords record a 2-0 week to cap off the 2024 regular season. In a 22-12 win against Moravian, the Berkeley Heights, N.J. native caused three turnovers and collected two ground balls, before causing two turnovers and scooping up two ground balls in the 9-7 season finale victory over Swarthmore.

Heading into a giant week of CC tournament action, Haverford remained in the ILWomen/IWLCA National Poll, slotting in as the No. 23 team in the nation.

You can catch Paprocki and the No. 23 Fords Wednesday, May 1, as Haverford hosts the Dickinson Red Devils in round one of the Centennial Conference tournament. The first draw is slated for 5 p.m.

Fans interested in attending the game at Swan Field can purchase tickets in advance.
