Women's Squash Lands Four CSA Scholar Athletes

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's squash team placed four on the College Squash Association (CSA) Scholar-Athlete honorees list for the 2023-2024 season, the organization announced in a postseason awards release.

The Scholar-Athlete Award was earned this season to varsity juniors or seniors who have played on the team throughout their college career, earned at least two varsity letters, participated in the majority of the team's matches in the top 10 of the lineup during the season, and achieved a high academic standing at their institution. CSA Scholar Athletes represent the values of the association, specifically including student-athletes achieving a high level of play on court while excelling in the classroom. The award recipients this season for Haverford included seniors Maya Johnson-Fraidin and Emi Krishnamurthy, and juniors Catherine Fortin and Amelia Stevens. All four Fords picked up the honor for the first time. 

Making their Liberty League debut this season, Haverford finished the 2023-24 season with a 2-2 conference record and a 6-13 record overall, reaching the Liberty League Semifinals.
