WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Haverford College women's track & field team competed in the Golden Ram Invitational on Saturday, as the team is starting to hit peak performance with Centennial Conference Championships just under a month away. Haverford finished the day fourth in the team scores with 72 points.

Haverford's day at West Chester was highlighted by multiple program top-ten performances. The first of them came from Jahsaiah Moses in the 100-meter dash. Although Moses is already fourth on the all-time list, she lowered her personal best by a hundredth of a second. Moses finished fifth in the event with a time of 12.68. Her previous best of 12.69 came in April of 2022.

Ally Landau finished 11th in the event, running 13.03. Her time was good enough for a personal best in her young track career, bettering her previous best of 13.11 she set just a week ago. The standout on the basketball court is showing her speed on the track and putting the rest of the Centennial Conference on notice with her performance in the 200-meter dash. Landau's return to the track after the 100 meters was a good one. The junior crossed the finish in 26.37 which was good enough for sixth. With that time, Landau jumped to tenth on Haverford's all-time list for the event. Landau is already proving to be a force on the track and a 100/200 double at championships could work well for the Fords.

Olivia D'Aulerio can officially be labeled as the "do it all" type of athlete for the Fords this campaign. After already cementing herself in the all-time top ten list in the 100, 200, and 400 meters, the first-year can now add the 800 meters to her list. D'Aulerio put her soccer season endurance to the test and it surely transferred over well to the track for the dual-sport athlete. D'Aulerio finished second and crossed the line in 2:18.58, a personal best and tenth all-time for Haverford.

Finishing just behind D'Aulerio was teammate Isabel Thornberry, crossing the line in third place with a time of 2:19.75. Thornberry was just a second off her personal best but the Fords getting two athletes under 2:20 in the 800 meters is something to adore at this point in the season. Also competing in the event were Carly Priest (2:34.93), Kayla Robinson (2:38.04), and Ella Fleming (2:48.45).

Krysta Nichols and Annemarie Wood finished in the top ten at the meet finishing seventh and eighth respectively in the 1500 meters. Nichols finished first in her heat running 5:19.67, a huge personal best. She knocked nearly ten seconds off her previous best of 5:27.39 set on March 25. Wood finished right behind her for second in the heat with a personal best performance of 5:21.07. Jessie Hausman rounded out the performances in the event, running 5:26.84. Audrey Carter finished second in the 5,000 meters running 21:08.70 while Robinson and Fleming finished fifth and sixth in the 100-meter hurdles. Robinson crossed the line in 19.24 while Fleming clocked 20.11.

Moses returned to the track for the 400-meter hurdles. Although it wasn't the best performance of her career, the senior still managed to finish fourth, crossing the finish line in 109.17 just 0.03 seconds off her personal best. Joining Moses in the event were Abby Ryan (1:15.30) and Rachel November (1:16.99). Kayla Robinson grabbed the win in the long jump after jumping out to 5.20 meters (17 feet) and well ahead of the second-place finisher.

The Fords got solid performances all around in the throwing events. Sarah Wilcher led the way for Haverford in the discus with a throw of 34.05 meters (111 feet, 8 inches). Wilcher's throw was a personal best and good enough to finish sixth place in the event. It also placed her ninth on Haverford's all-time list.  Sydney Cummings finished ninth in the hammer throw with a throw of 36.65 meters (120 feet, 3 inches). It was just off her personal best of 36.71 meters set last week at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener last weekend.

Cummings returned for the javelin and placed sixth with her teammate Cortlyn Morris placing right behind her in seventh. Cummings threw 30.18 meters (99 feet) while Morris threw 29.01 meters (95 feet, 2 inches). The meet closed with Haverford placing second in the 4x400 meter relay. The team composed of Landau, Thornberry, Dominique Monroy, and D'Aulerio raced to a time of 4:03.93.

Haverford will next return to West Chester in a week for the Bill Butler Invitational next Saturday, April 15. The meet is scheduled for a 12 p.m. start.
