HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford first year libero/defensive specialist Juliet Young has been named an All-America Honorable Mention, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced in its annual national postseason awards release on Tuesday afternoon. Young is the first rookie from Haverford to garner inclusion on an All-America listing since Rebecca Salvo earned honorable mention in 2006, en route to four consecutive All-America awards. In total, Young is the 11th AVCA All-American in program history.

Late last week, Young earned AVCA All-Region honors for Region V. A product of Guilford, Conn., Young had a standout rookie campaign as she was Haverford's primary libero in her first year at Haverford. Young is Haverford's 13th All-Region first-teamer, and first rookie to earn the award since Salvo in 2006. Salvo was also the Region Rookie of the Year in that campaign.

The Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year, Young tallied a Centennial-best 594 digs and 5.55 digs per set through Sunday's NCAA tournament action. Her single-season digs mark is fourth in program history and her digs per set mark ranks eighth in Haverford's history. She is the only first-team Centennial rookie since 2018 and the first at Haverford since Meg O'Day in 2012.
