Miller and Petrichenko Named All-CC for Women's Cross Country

Full Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Senior Izzy Miller of the Haverford women's cross country team earned first-team All-Centennial Conference honors, the conference announced on Thursday morning. Joining Miller on the All-Conference squad was Angie Petrichenko, as the senior picked up second-team honors in 2021. Haverford has now had multiple all-conference honorees in four of the last six Centennial Conference championships.

Haverford outlasted rival Swarthmore in the meet, as has been the case all season in the head-to-head meetings between the two sides. By virtue of that head-to-head victory in the conference meet, Haverford earns a point towards the overall Hood Trophy ledger.

Senior Lauren Tanel was named to the Centennial Conference's All-Sportsmanship Team. One individual from each Centennial squad is selected for the award on an annual basis.

Currently ranked 27th in the USTFCCCA Division III National Coaches Poll, women's cross country will next return to action on November 13 as the Fords get set for the NCAA Metro Regional, Hosted by Rowan, the regional race will feature seven individual entrants from each team with the top two squads earning automatic bids to the NCAA Championship. The women's race will get underway at 12 p.m. that day.
