HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Fords' men's lacrosse team, beginning with a red-eye flight on Jan. 8, took a nine-day trip to Portugal where the squad included friendly contests against the English, Spanish and Portuguese national teams in between some sightseeing opportunities as well as several educational experiences.
Senior attackman Christian Clay blogged during the trip with head coach Colin Bathory flooding the team's Twitter account with Tweets and pictures from throughout the stay in Europe.
Bathory, Clay and the rest of the team and coaches returned State-side Thursday, Jan. 16 and will open the 2014 schedule with a home match-up at Swan Field against No. 7 Cabrini College on Saturday, Feb. 22.
