HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Centennial Conference has announced the 2017 Fall Academic Honor Roll. With 66 student-athletes honored at Haverford, the Fords were well represented against the other schools from around the conference. The academic honor roll recognizes sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a 3.40 cumulative grade point average or higher.

Women's cross country and field hockey both led the Centennial Conference in Academic Honor Roll honorees. Women's cross country's (13 selections) academic honors came in addition to the team placing 27th at the NCAA Division III Championships. Field hockey (11 selections) advanced to the semifinals of the Centennial Conference Tournament in 2017. Men's cross country (16 honorees), women's soccer (13 honorees), and men's soccer (13 honorees) were all second among their conference peers while four volleyball players were also honored on the academic honor roll.

Of those 63 student-athletes who were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, 19 were also represented on their All-Centennial Conference teams. Highlighting that list was men's cross country runner Graham Peet who was named the Centennial Conference's Scholar-Athlete of the Year recognition for men's cross country.

Additionally, Marcelo Jauregui-Volpe (men's cross country), Ryan Herlihy (men's cross country), Sam McCalpin (men's cross country), Henry Woods (men's cross country), Nicole Giannetti (women's cross country), Amelia Keyser-Gibson (women's cross country), Katie Sullivan (women's cross country), Caroline Aronowitz (field hockey), Rachel Gordon (field hockey), Stephanie Terrell (field hockey), Ben Field (men's soccer), Dorian Wirz (men's soccer), Raina Fitzpatrick (women's soccer), Katie Safter (women's soccer), Sara Matsumura (volleyball), Natalie Pisch (volleyball), and Zoe Wong (volleyball) were also all-conference and academic honor roll honorees.
