Centennial Conference Announces Winter Academic Honor Roll

Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Centennial Conference has announced the 2018-19 Winter Academic Honor Roll. With 60 student-athletes honored at Haverford, the Fords were well represented among the other schools from around the conference. The academic honor roll recognizes sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a 3.40 cumulative grade point average or higher.

Men's basketball (7 honorees) and men's indoor track & field (25 honorees) both led their respective sports with the most selections across the entire Centennial Conference. Women's track & field (22 selections) had 85 percent of its eligible team members reach the conference standards to rank second in that sport. The Centennial Conference Championship-winning women's basketball team had six players named to the academic honor roll.

Of those student-athletes who were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, 14 were also represented on their All-Centennial Conference teams to give the Fords a very sizeable portion of the conference's 98 total student-athletes who were named to the Academic All-Centennial Conference Team. That group included 2019 Centennial Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Year Greg Morgan and women's basketball Centennial Conference Tournament MVP Macy Goldbach.

Haverford was represented on the Academic All-Centennial Conference Team by:

  • Women's basketball: Anna-Sophia Capizzi, Macy Goldbach
  • Men's indoor track & field: James Barker, Jack Brower, Greg Morgan, Graham Peet, Ian Woodhouse
