HAVERFORD, Pa. - Three of Haverford College's spring athletic teams have qualified for a place in this week's upcoming Centennial Conference playoff action. No. 28 Men's Tennis (13-5, 7-1 CC) will be making its 10th consecutive trip to the Centennial Conference semifinals, and will be looking to reach the Centennial final for the first time since 2013. No. 36 Women's Tennis (12-6, 7-2 CC) is also back in the Centennial Conference semifinals for the fourth consecutive tournament after reaching the CC final during the 2018 season.
The much-anticipated semifinals against rival Swarthmore will take place on Saturday at Swarthmore College's Faulkner Courts, with the first serve of the men's matchup slated for an 11 a.m. start with the women to follow at approximately 3 p.m. Fans can follow live stats from all the action on Saturday. No admission fee will be charged to spectators. The winner of the semifinal will advance to the CC final on Saturday in Baltimore.
No. 22 Women's Lacrosse (12-4, 7-2 CC) has reached the CC tournament for the third consecutive season, and will be making a second straight semifinals berth after also reaching the semis in 2019. Haverford will matchup with No. 4 Franklin & Marshall on Saturday at top-seeded Gettysburg. That contest is slated for a 3 p.m. start with the winner facing off for the CC title on Sunday at 1 p.m.
