Haverford Places 39 on Winter Academic Honor Roll

Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Centennial Conference has released the 2015 Winter Academic Honor Roll. Haverford College student-athletes were well represented on the list with 39 selections between the basketball and indoor track & field teams.

The academic honor roll recognizes sophomores, juniors and seniors who are key performers on their respective teams (played/competed in at least 50 percent of the team’s varsity competitions) and have a 3.40 cumulative grade point average or higher.

Men’s indoor track & field, along with women’s basketball, each led the Centennial Conference in the number of recipients from those respective sports. The 18 honorees from the men’s indoor track & field team was seven more than any other school in the conference in that sport. Six selections from women’s basketball tied with Dickinson for the most academic honorees in that sport.

Women’s indoor track & field had 11 student-athletes named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. That total ranked second in the conference, while the four selections from the men’s basketball program ranked them third among their conference peers.
