Thirty-eight named to Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Centennial Conference released it Fall Academic Honor Roll Tuesday. Thirty-three Haverford College student-athletes were named to the honor roll. To be nominated a student-athlete must participate in at least 50 percent of contests, matches or meets, or in the Conference varsity championship in cross country; be a sophomore or higher in class standing; and have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher.

Men’s cross country had nine members make the list which is the most from any team in the conference. Eric Arnold, Joseph Carpenter, Phil Eiseman, Anders Hulleberg, Andrew Lanham, Faraz Sohail, Chris Southwick, Andrew Sturner and Elias Tousley represented the harriers. This is the third time that Lanham has received the honors while Southwick and Tousley are two-time honorees.

Women’s cross country tied with Bryn Mawr, Gettysburg and Swarthmore for having the most student-athletes on the honor roll with eight. Maya Cabot, Jamie Croucher, Kaia Davis, Harper Hubbeling, Aileen Keogh, Emily Lipman, Alice Vienneau and Liz Zoidis all made the honor roll. Cabot, Hubbeling, Keogh and Zoidis are all two-time recipients.

Five from field hockey made the list that included Maggie Cronin, Christine Gall, Patrice Harkins, Juliana Morgan-Trostle and Alex Waleko. Cronin, Harkins and Waleko made the honor roll for the second time in their careers.

Chris Dioguardi, Brian Pepe-Mooney, David Restrepo, Alejandro Rettig y Martinez, Jake Seeley, Max Stossel, Matt Wetherell and Zack Woerner represented the men’s soccer team which was the most of any school. Pepe-Mooney received the honor for the third straight year and Stossel is on the list for the second time.

Women’s soccer was represented by Michele Buonora, Anna Rayne, Lindsay Ryan, Katey Scionti, Katie Van Aken and Erin Verrier. Buonora and Scionti are two-time honor roll selections.

Kate Comey was the lone member from volleyball to make the honor roll.
