HAVERFORD, Pa. – Welcome to the new and improved, HaverfordAthletics.com! Haverford College Athletics, in conjunction with the website host PrestoSports, has released a newly redesigned site.
The newly redesigned website makes HaverfordAthletics.com much more user friendly with the most popular pages on the site now prominently featured on the home page. In addition to the new and improved look, HaverfordAthletics.com will continue to provide followers of the Fords with the latest news, scores, standings, schedules, and rosters for each of the Fords’ 23 varsity teams. Additionally, comprehensive information on club sports, physical education classes and facility information is also available.

Some of the new features that immediately will stick out to users include:
Responsive Design:
HaverfordAthletics.com can now recognize the device you are accessing the website with and customize the screen width to fit your needs whether you are accessing the site on your phone, ipad, or desktop computer. This feature creates a much more user friendly mobile site which very closely mirrors the look and feel of the traditional desktop view.
Drop Down Menu:
Toolbars that had previously been located on the left side of the screen now drop down across the top of the screen to create a more modern feel. The toolbars were designed to prominently display the most accessed content on HaverfordAthletics.com.
Larger Headline Photo:
Users are immediately drawn to the top stories of the day with the prominent headline photo. Additionally, six stories now rotate through under the headlines allowing our teams, coaches and players to receive the full publicity they deserve. Direct links to box scores are now also available directly from the home page.
New Game Recap Article layout:
For applicable sports, quick box scores are now shown on the right side of the story to allow users to quickly gather all the key information they need to know about their favorite teams.
Social Media Integration:
Follow the Fords live on social media through the live twitter, facebook and instagram feeds on the right side of the screen. Individual team’s social media accounts are also available on the team’s sport specific web page.
Video Portal/Student-Athlete Spotlight:
Check out all the latest game highlights and student-athlete profiles on the right side of the screen as we continue to highlight the achievements of our amazing student-athletes both on and off the playing field.
New Buttons across bottom:
HaverGear provides users the chance to get everything they need for the Haverford fan in their life or for themselves. Past also meets present in the History and Traditions section with a complete listing of major awards in school history. Also, be sure to check out the new and improved alumni page that features profiles, upcoming alumni events and chances to connect with fellow alumni on LinkedIn.
