Junior outfielder Jeff Butera earned first-team honors while junior pitcher Colin Sarafin and sophomore first basemen Jake Chaplin were voted second-team.
Widener scored a run in the bottom of the eighth to take a one-run lead, but Jake Kaden’s sacrifice fly in the ninth tied the score again and allowed Charlie Carluccio to single in the go-ahead run in the 10th.
Despite losing both ends of the twin-bill, the Fords clinched second place and will host Swarthmore Friday in the first round of the Centennial Conference tournament.
Haverford trailed, 8-0, after three innings, but battled back to take a 9-8 lead in the sixth only to see the Knights score twice in the bottom of the inning and take the lead before the game was called.
