HAVERFORD, Pa. – Due to rain in the area over the night, the Haverford College baseball and softball teams have announced the postponement of Tuesday's Centennial Conference matchups.

Baseball was originally scheduled to play Ursinus in a single game on Tuesday but will now play the Bears Wednesday on Kannerstein Field with the same 3:30 p.m. start time. As a result of that postponement, the Fords' game with Alvernia has been postponed. A make-up date for that contest has not yet been determined.

Softball originally planned to travel to Swarthmore this afternoon for a doubleheader with the rival Garnet. Those contests have been postponed to Thursday, April 13 with the first game set to get underway at 3 p.m. With that announcement, the Fords are next scheduled to play at home this Thursday in a doubleheader with Muhlenberg at 3 p.m.
