Centennial Conference Baseball Championship Postponed To Monday

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Centennial Conference Baseball Championship between Johns Hopkins and Haverford has been postponed due to rain and wet weather in Baltimore on Sunday afternoon.

After conferring with Johns Hopkins officials and the conference office, the decision was made to push the game into next week as wet weather is expected to continue throughout the day in the area. The contest is now slated to begin at 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

Haverford (20-19) won two games yesterday at Babb Field, setting up the title matchup with the Blue Jays after eclipsing Muhlenberg 4-2 in the morning, and notching an exhilarating 8-5 victory in 10 innings over Franklin & Marshall in the late afternoon contest.

The Fords are seeking their fourth Centennial Conference title in the last eight seasons, and will look to return to the pinnacle of the conference for the first time since 2016.
