Why did you choose Haverford?
I chose Haverford because I really wanted to go to an academically challenging school while also getting to compete at a high level in baseball. During my visit, I had a great time with the team and could see how close everyone was and I wanted to be a part of that. I think Haverford offers a unique experience with great coaches and a strong team culture that is rare to find at most schools.

What is your favorite team experience?
There have been so many memorable experiences so far with our team but the best one was competing against Franklin & Marshall in the playoffs. Late in the game, Ethan Lee-Tyson (the goat) hit a solo home run to force extra innings. Ethan then hit another three-run go-ahead home run to win the game.

Why did you choose to play a sport in college?
In high school, I realized that I had a passion for baseball and that I would want to continue playing after graduating high school. Playing at Haverford has been a great decision as DIII baseball has proved to be a very high quality of baseball that I wouldn't have been able to experience otherwise.

What makes Haverford unique?
I think one of the best unique aspects of Haverford is the freedom being at a small school affords us. Student-athletes are able to cultivate close relationships with coaches and professors that allows us to have great experiences. Additionally, being at a small school full of smart and driven people creates a great atmosphere to get the most out of your Haverford experience.

What advice would you give a high school student considering Haverford?
I would encourage them to visit campus and meet as many students as possible to see if they would fit in here.
