HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College Baseball senior Mike Rabayda has been named the Centennial Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season, the conference office announced in a release on Tuesday morning.

Rabayda earned his third Centennial Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week nod after a dominant performance on the hill against Dickinson over the weekend, where the Richboro, Pa. native scattered just three hits in six innings of work, fanning 12 Red Devils against just three walks, to pick up the W in game one of a Centennial Conference doubleheader.

The impressive pitching streak has earned Rabayda the Centennial Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week award for the third time this season. Back on March 11, the Council Rock South product took home the award after he registered 6.2 innings of three-hit ball, striking out 11 with no walks and without allowing an earned run in Haverford's 2-1 victory over Skidmore in seven innings.

The dazzling outing against Skidmore came after Rabayda was chosen as the first Centennial Conference Pitcher of the week of 2024 on February 26, where he threw five scoreless innings with seven strikeouts to earn a win in a 6-2 victory over Gwynedd Mercy to open up the season.

The senior pitcher missed the 2023 season which followed an impressive 2022 campaign, where he earned Second-Team All-Conference honors, as well as being selected to the ABCA All-Region 5 Third-team.

You can catch Rabayda and the Fords in Baseball's next game Tuesday, April 9, at Washington College. First pitch for the Centennial Conference contest is slated for 3:30 p.m.
