Ryan Giovenco returned to his alma mater as an Assistant Coach for the 2023 season. 

Over the course of his Haverford career, Giovenco, a right-handed pitcher, appeared in 21 games for the Fords, making 14 starts on the mound. He struck out 49 batters in 71.1 innings. He was a two-year team captain and earned Centennial Conference Honor Roll in each season of eligibility. 

Giovenco graduated from Haverford in May of 2021 with a degree in Biology. He earned his Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in May of 2022. 

He currently works as a Research Technican at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and resides in Philadelphia.
