HAVERFORD, Pa. – Senior Alex Waleko of the Haverford College field hockey team has been named Womensfieldhockey.com's national Division III Player of the Week.

Waleko, named the Centennial Conference co-offensive player of the week Monday, scored both of Haverford's goals in its October 7 upset win at 8th-ranked Eastern University, knocking off the host Eagles by a 2-1 score. The day prior she scored twice and added a pair of assists in the Fords' home victory over Bryn Mawr College.

Her four goal, two assist week extended leads in goals (36) and points (92) on Haverford's career lists. The Centennial weekly honor was the second time Waleko had been tabbed for conference player of the week honors after earning the same award Sept. 27.
