HAVERFORD, Pa. - For the second time this season, junior Allison Martin was named the Centennial Conference Field Hockey Defender of the Week. 

Martin tied her career-high with three points in the game vs. Bryn Mawr last Wednesday. The defender also recorded a defensive save vs. the Owls which set a new career-high for defensive saves in a season (4) and puts her in a tie for second in the conference.

In the Fords' impressive 2-1 win over McDaniel on Saturday, Martin was part of a unit that blocked five shots in the second half as Haverford recorded its third conference win of the season.

The Fords will host Washington College in their final home game of the season on Wednesday before heading to Swarthmore to wrap up the year. The game vs. Washington College is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
