Davis Named Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week

HAVERFORD, Pa. – After chipping in two goals and assisting on a third in a 3-1 victory over Eastern on Saturday, Haverford first year attacker Ravenel Davis has been named the Centennial Conference Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week. The Conference office announced the weekly award in a release on Monday afternoon.

Davis was an integral part of Haverford's matinee triumph, scoring in the 10th minute and notching the game-winner in the 61st minute. Davis assisted on Kelsey Chai's insurance goal moments later as the Fords dispatched the Eagles on Swan Field.

Davis, a product of Richmond, Va., is tied for second in the conference in goals (3) and points (7) through the first three games of the season.

The Fords (3-0) return to action with two games this week, traveling to Malvern, Pa. to face off with Immaculata on Tuesday (6 p.m.) before hosting Rowan on Saturday (12 p.m.) to wrap the third week of the 2018 season.
