Haverford, fresh off the heels of back-to-back Centennial Conference playoff berths, earned 48 total voting points, prognosticated as the sixth and final playoff team. The Fords are no stranger to postseason play with 10 overall postseason trips in the Centennial Conference era.

Johns Hopkins was picked as the favorite, with nine of 11 first-place votes and a total of 98 points. Hopkins earns the top spot in the preseason poll for the fourth straight year.  The Blue Jays are 48-2 in regular season conference games and won four conference tournament titles dating back to the 2017 campaign.
